Many customers feel unsure when buying a newly built property. JM wanted to demonstrate how the process works in a way that could be easily understood, and help people feel secure with their purchase. JM also wanted to attract more readers to its book, Ett hus blir till (How a House Is Built), and a multimedia site.
Citat Journalistgruppen familiarized itself with JM’s business, created a film concept and created the actual video. It tells of a couple who have recently bought a home from JM, and we follow them through every step of the purchase process. The film is divided into several chapters, and viewers can choose to watch one step in the process or the entire video.
Once the video was complete, Citat Journalistgruppen’s web team developed a media player for JM’s website, allowing visitors to the site to watch streaming video including “Buying a New Home.”
Major impact
The video has had a major impact, being seen by several thousand visitors who have given it a big thumbs-up. The film is also appreciated within JM, with staff proud of the result. The media player fits into the design of JM’s website, and is easy for visitors to use.
